Bert was born and raised in Hungary. By the age of 4, he was demonstrating serious artistic talent. From the beginning, Bert’s favorite medium was natural stone and his sculpting career quickly flourished. At age 17, he left Hungary for Vienna to work as a fine-arts sculptor. He also began restoring stone and marble statues in local cathedrals. He came to the United States in 1989, bringing his skills and experience to the craft of granite and marble fabrication. |

| Today, Bert is known throughout the Bay Area as a stone master, having created hundreds of works of art in private homes. His kitchen countertops, bathroom showers and vanities, fireplaces and unique floors are unparalleled in quality. Bert delights in providing his clients with unique designs that make each project a one-of-a-kind sensation. |
